Six disciplines. One accountable contractor.
Most of what goes wrong on a heavy civil job goes wrong at a handoff. We removed the handoffs.

Coverage

Drilled Shafts
Deep foundations engineered for permanence.
Also known as caisson foundations, drilled shafts carry the load of every structure above them. We self-perform the full sequence — surveying, casing, excavation, slurry management, rebar cage assembly and concrete placement — with the instrumentation and CSL testing that state agencies expect on critical structures.

Overhead Structures
Sign bridges, cantilevers and monotube gantries.
Overhead structures are the most visible steel we install and the least forgiving. Every truss, cantilever and monotube is erected to FDOT structural standards under night lane closures, with survey control and torque verification documented at every connection.

Highway Signs
Ground mounted, overhead and bridge mounted systems.
From single-post guide signs to bridge-mounted panel arrays, we handle layout, foundation, structure and panel as one scope. One contractor, one schedule, one point of accountability — which is why agencies keep the work with us.

Pavement Markings
Thermoplastic, tape and high-friction surfacing.
Markings are the interface between engineering and the driver. We lay down long-line, special emphasis and high-friction surface treatments with the layout precision that keeps corridors legible at seventy miles an hour in the rain.

Rebar Fabrication
Cages built to spec, in-house, on schedule.
We fabricate reinforcement cages in our own yard so the schedule never waits on a supplier. Cages are assembled, tagged and delivered to the shaft in the sequence the crew needs them, cutting placement time and eliminating field rework.

Sign Manufacturing
Panel fabrication under our own roof.
Extruded aluminum panels, sheeting, legends and hardware — fabricated to FDOT specification in our facility. Controlling manufacture means controlling lead time, and lead time is what protects a critical-path completion date.

How CHI delivers
How the work actually gets delivered.
01
Estimate
Take-offs, means and methods, and a schedule built from crew capacity — not from wishful thinking.
02
Plan
Maintenance of traffic, submittals, shop drawings and material procurement sequenced before mobilisation.
03
Self-perform
Our own crews, our own fleet, our own fabrication yard. Fewer handoffs, fewer failure points.
04
Verify
Integrity testing, survey control and torque documentation released to the owner before the next element proceeds.
Send us the plans. We will send back a number you can build to.
Bid documents, prequalification packages and subcontractor enquiries go straight to our estimating desk.
